YOGA – means YOKE/CONNECTION  it’s POWERFUL and DIVINE, I am forever grateful for this practice

It is a pivotal piece in my health and wellbeing puzzle and I recommend it for everyone ! The beauty of yoga is that there are so many different styles it is easy to find one that meets your needs

I have completed teacher training in Japanese, Vinyasa, Yin, Childrens, Stand up Paddle board and Yoga for Trauma survivors

Both Yin and Yang styles are aligned with Chinese Energy meridians and the 5 element theory, as the seasons change so do we. When we live and practice in harmony with the changing seasons we honour the energetic changes within us also which  supports us to stay balanced and nourished

It’s the MOON, it’s the DARK, it’s the STILL, it’s the COOLING & CALMING side of ourselves

In Yin & Yang theory, its the SHADY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN

When we need to NURTURE & BE GENTLE, REST & CENTRE ourselves this is the energy we tap into

In our Tuesday & Thursday Yin Yoga practice, we settle into poses that allow DEEP FASCIA RELEASE, using gravity & the weight of our own body to do all the work. Yin is a still & meditative practice that calms our nervous system so that we feel more grounded and at ease within ourselves
