YOGA – means YOKE, it means UNION

It is both powerful and divine and I am forever grateful to this practice for being the bridge that created CONNECTION and ALIGNMENT within myself, where before there was none

Yoga was and is a pivotal piece in my health and wellbeing puzzle and I recommend it for everyone!

The beauty of yoga is that there are so many different styles, it is easy to find one that is a great fit for you

I have completed Teacher Training in a variety of styles, including; Japanese, Vinyasa, Yin, Children’s, Stand up Paddle board and Yoga for Trauma survivors

Come and join us in our weekly classes in Emerald Beach, attend a seasonal workshop or book a private session tailored especially for you in your home

Both Yin and Yang styles are aligned with Traditional Chinese Energy Meridians and the 5 Elements, which are aligned with the Elements and Seasons – as the seasons change so do we and, so does our Yoga Practice

When we live and practice in harmony with the changing seasons, we honour the energetic changes within us, which supports us to stay balanced, nourished and in alignment with our internal and external environments

Yin Yoga

Yin is our FEMININE energy

It’s the MOON, it’s the DARK, it’s the STILL, it’s the COOLING & CALMING side of ourselves

In Yin & Yang theory, Yin is the shady side of the mountain

When we need to NURTURE & BE GENTLE, REST & RECENTRE ourselves this is the energy we tap into

In our 6pm Thursday Evening Yin Yoga practice, we settle into poses that allow DEEP FASCIA RELEASE, using gravity & the weight of our own body to do all the work. Yin is a still & meditative practice that calms our nervous system so that we feel more grounded, more present, more open and more at ease within ourselves
